Super Channel

From late in the ill-fated Super Channel's life comes this selection of continuity and promos. Super Channel was a strange entity, partially an attempted spoiler for Sky Channel, partially an attempt to see if a pan-European "superstation" would work. "Neither" is the best response we can give. This dates from very late 1989 through to early 1991 (based on the tape contents), after ITV had collectively sold out and an Italian company and Virgin had bought in. The programming by then was all off-the-shelf, cheap and off-the-shelf or self-serving sponsored cheap rubbish. The writing was on the wall.
