After our lunch, we continue our walk around the town through the pedestrian streets going parallel to Kura River. First stop is St. George Cathedral. Beautiful interior decoration. We'll go to another church which as beautiful as this one if not better; Zion Cathedral of Dormition. After passing through the crowded and most touristic streets we arrive at The Clock Tower. It's a very unique, kind of dadaesque tower that offers much more than photographic attraction. There is also a puppet theater in case you're interested.

After this one, we finally go to the other side of the town by passing over the Bridge of Peace. A great modern iconic piece of architecture in the middle of the historical town. Wandering in the huge Rike Park, we got a chance to appreciate the greenery and beautiful statues all over the park.

We climb up to the hilly site of the Queen Derajani Palace and take a look at the stunning view of the balcony looking over the Kura River and Old Tbilisi, providing amazing views of Narikala and the surroundings. Unfortunately, the fortress is mostly under restoration works so rather than huge fortress walls we mostly see a green fabric over the facades.

Our next stop in this side of the city is the one icon that can be seen from almost everywhere in the Old Tbilisi, Metekhi Virgin Mary Assumption Church. Located next to Kura River, over the cliffs, it's probably the most iconic piece of architecture in Tbilisi.

Finally, we go back to Rike Park and use the cable car to appreciate amazing bird's eye view of TBilisi as we ascend over the city. We arrive at another icon of the city, Mother of Georgia. The statue is huge and the top of that mountain is pretty crowded. After a while, we started to climb down by the Betlemi Street Stairs to go to our hotel. Betlemi Churches are places that worth seeing on this road of stairs.
