For sale 2004 ESP LTD DV8-R Dave Mustaine Signature V in Snow White finish.

These guitars were only produced for 2 years before Dave went to Dean, and are becoming harder and harder to find, and almost never in condition this clean. Very rare and a must have for fans and collectors.
These guitars very rarely pop up for sale and are highly sought after.

It features neck through construction with Mahogany body and neck; rosewood fingerboard with 24 Jumbo frets and white binding on a 25,5" scale neck; Seymour Duncan JB and Jazz pickups; TonePros tune-o-matic bridge; Sperzel locking tuners and Dunlop Flushmount Straploks.

The guitar is in excellent condition, just a couple of small paint chips on the tips of the V, barely visible. The neck is straight, and frets are in excellent condition with minimal fret wear if any.

The guitar is very well made, the fretwork is spot on, no sharp edges at all. Very comfortable and fast neck with super low action makes it very easy to play fast riffs and blazing solos.

The feel and sound of the guitar is phenomenal. It plays and feels amazingly, it is an absolute dream to play. The tone and resonance are incredible.
The neck through construction makes the neck very comfortable and gives the easiest access to high frets.
This is meant to be seen and played not kept in the case.
It includes the original ESP LTD DVR-R Case. The guitar was just set up in E Standard with set of Rotosound 10-46 strings.

Comes with original hardcase and will be carefully packed to ensure safe shipping.

The ESP LTD DV8-R Dave Mustaine was designed to suit Dave Mustaine’s own inimitable style and taste.

The LTD Signature Series DV8-R features neck thru body construction, Seymour Duncan JB and Jazz humbuckers, a TonePros bridge and a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard with a signature 8 ball inlay at the first fret. Its large frets make for easy playability and Sperzel locking tuners ensure tuning stability. Other features include a mahogany neck & body, black hardware, 2 volume knobs, 1 tone knob, and a 3-way pickup selector switch.

ESP Dave Mustaine LTD DV8-R Pickups
JB: A completely balanced coil configuration produces great harmonics and a high output with just the right blend of sustain and distortion. It's the best of both worlds: from sweet warm tones to raw rock 'n' roll.

Jazz: Delivers an accurate, clear tone for fast runs. The brighter sound has slightly less output and is a good match with most pickups.

TonePros Locking Bridge System
A simple concept that no one thought of until TonePros, the system features set screws on either side of the bridge and stop tailpiece. Because they secure solidly in place, intonation and tuning are more accurate-the bridge never falls off. Sustain is better, too, since all of the parts in the system are locked in place and become one with the guitar body.

Dunlop Flushmount Straplocks
Dave uses the to keep his straps from coming off during heated performances. They'll leave your straps fastened during the most active performances, and their flush mounting means they won't stick out and get in the way.
