You join me in this video today on the bank of the River Kennet in Berkshire. My target is to catch a Chub or Barbel on Spam for the camera. In this video I will show you how i use and mount Spam to the hook and what i look for when the River is carrying a bit of extra water. With the river starting to fine down a bit, i will show you where i prefer to place a bait, looking at slack and undercut areas. I have a short session of about 4 hours, which results in a lovely 6 pound plus Chub for the camera.
