Kristian also directed Afro-Latina comic Aida Rodriguez's comedy special with HBO Max which is out now. He also directed the Michael Che comedy special Michael Che: Shame The Devil on Netflix!

Raised between New York's Spanish Harlem and Puerto Rico, Kristian discovered his passion for the arts at an early age, often using film as a form of escapism. His psychedelic animated short, "Nuevo Rico," debuted at the 2021 SXSW Festival, garnering the prestigious Animation Jury Award. The film, which stars Jackie Cruz ("Orange Is the New Black") and Antonio Vizcarrondo ("Power"), follows a pair of siblings who stumble upon a celestial secret that propels them into Reggeatón stardom. "Nuevo Rico" is currently being developed into a full-length feature film. No stranger to accolades, Kristian's narrative feature film screenplay, "HawkBells," received a 2020 Screenwriting Award at Slamdance, while his screenplay "MELA" was the recipient of a Cinereach grant. Both projects are currently in development.
