A Deep Dive into Spike & Joyce

A video analyzing Spike & Joyce's relationship. They only have a few scenes together, but what few scenes they have, they are excellent. Their scenes were primarily comedic but beneath the surface, I feel that there was something real. We can presume that Spike was nice to Joyce in Season 5 because he was in love with Buffy, but after Joyce passes away, it appears that Spike genuinely liked Joyce. He wasn't getting anything out of his final gesture for Joyce. With the backstory that we are given for Spike in Season 7, his relationship with Joyce feels deeper (even though it was not intended).
