Hey all! Sorry for the lack of uploads recently, I've been busy with school and spending way too much time on tiktok (lol). Here's my piano cover of Fancy by TWICE! I try to improve/work on one thing every time I make a cover, and this time around, my focus was rhythm. Fancy is more rhythmically complex than other songs I've covered on my channel due to the syncopated and offbeat rhythms. While I was practicing, I even found myself having to deliberately count in my head to make sure I was playing as accurately as possible! Another thing that I paid special attention to in this cover was articulation. In the song, the singers have a very specific articulation for each of the phrases, which if changed, makes the song sound different or "off" when making a cover. For example, there's a clear accent on "co" in "cho-CO-late ice cream". I'm still getting used to my new keyboard, so this was a bit more challenging, but I tried my best to pay attention to the details as much as possible.

Fancy is one of my favourite kpop songs and I had a lot of fun making this piano cover! I hope you enjoy :)
