Air Temp 30 def F, Elevation 8500, Prop, Yamaha 11x8"

Wanted to see if taking the hood off makes a difference from the run few hours earlier.

I suspected the motor was sucking in the hot air or not getting enough air again after the ECU update. Guess i will have to figure something out, running at high elevation like this will make motor run rich if there is not enough air going into it. Yamaha warranty will be void if I modify the cowling at this point it doesn't matter since I can replicate the poor intake design.
Motor i'm sure will run fine at sea level.

I printed a custom intake for the motor, the stock intake was restrictive and I did not like how the crankcase vent was tied into motor where it sucked gasses directly inside. The new design goes back to old days, with a venturi horn up front and the crank gas still functions, but i have a through hole on the bottom which lets the oil condense and drain out into a small tube.
