We get asked a lot about neuroplasticity and if breathwork has an impact on it. The answer is YES, especially if integration work is done afterwards.

We are continually programming our minds, producing specific results and doing that unconsciously. With Integrative Breathwork, our brain’s Default Mode Network (DMN) relaxes, softening the grip of past conditioning so that we are able to quiet the conditioned mind with all that mental chatter that seems to dominate our every waking moment.

Once our conditioned mind relaxes, we can then access our own internal resources, our deep inner wisdom, to heal and transform ourselves. This helps us “rewire our brain” to consciously program our mind creating new neural pathways. Neuroplasticity!!!

But without post Integrative Breathwork integration, doing whatever we can to support neuroplasticity, those new neural pathways will not strengthen and support changes in our thinking and behavior.
