INCINERATOR Build - Part 1- Prep and first CUTS

Описание к видео INCINERATOR Build - Part 1- Prep and first CUTS

Here repurposing an old decommissioned propane tank. So we already recycle glass, plastic, aluminum, cardboard, and steel. In the late fall, winter, and early spring we burn all our paper waste in the woodstove (my wife calls it "free heat" (ie, used paper towels, junk mail, cardboard packaging from food, etc). All our food scraps go outside (good food scraps go to the chickens, the rest (ie, moldy bread, bad fruit/veeggies etc) goes around the trees (out on the property) to attract rabbits and birds, so they will poop around and fertilize my trees. So we are left with very little actual trash (certain plastic packaging, styrofoam etc can't be recycled), maybe 1/2 bag a week? Doesn't make sense anymore to pay $80 something a month for someone to haul 2 bags of trash. I can make a trip to the dump for less than 20.00 every 6 months. Anyhow, in the late spring, summer, and early fall when we are not burning our paper trash in the fireplace, this incinerator gives us a good option to burn our paper waste during that 6-7 months or so. Our winds are way too unpredictable for a burn barrel (which was my original plan) but this incinerator should contain any rising hot embers/ashes and prevent a wildland fire. Today is April 18, it snowed yesterday and was 11 deg F this am, so this morning we have a nice fire in the woodstove, using our paper trash to start the fire and get the wood going. So probably not using the incinerator this week.
