There are new wheels designs, the new Buick Tri-shield badge and the Sport Touring model receives fresh, sporty details like a flat bottom steering wheel. The interior also gets a refresh with new technology including two screens under a single pane of glass and Buick Encore GX has added a rear seat reminder to this model.

The Buick Encore GX AWD powertrain is a 1.3L 3-cylinder with a 9-speed automatic transmission, 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque.
In the US, there is also a 1.2L turbocharged 3-cylinder Buick Encore GX matched to a CVT, 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque.
