THE HOLY CHARDHAM YATRA

DAY 01: HARIDWAR – BARKOT (185 KM DRIVE / 06 – 07 HR) ALT: 1280 M
Today we will receive you from Haridwar Railway station or Dehradun Airport and drive to Barkot, en-route visting Lakhamandal, which is en route to Barkot.
After visiting this mesmerizing sight, drive further to Barkot. Overnight stay is at hotel in Barkot.

DAY 02: BARKOT – YAMUNOTRI (40 KM DRIVE / 07 KM TREK) ALT: 3185 M
YAMUNOTRI –BARKOT (07 KM TREK / 38 KM DRIVE) ALT: 1280 M
Today, bit early in the morning drive to Janki Chatti. From here start trek to Yamunotri. Either by walk or by mule or by palanquin on own expenses.
After visiting the temple return to hotel in Barkort. Overnight is at the hotel in Barkot.

DAY 03: BARKOT – UTTARKASHI (90 KM DRIVE / 03-04 HR) ALT: 1158 M
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. En-route visits the Shiv Gufa at Mahargaon.
After visiting the cave continue your drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. In the evening visit Vishwanath Temple at Uttarkashi town.

DAY 04: UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI (100 KM DRIVE / 04 HR) ALT: 3048 M
GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI (100 KM DRIVE / 04 HR) ALT: 1158 M
Morning visit Gangotri Mandir. After visiting Gangori temple return to Uttarakashi. On the way enjoy picturesque Harshil Village, Bhagirathi River and the most magnificent view of Himalayas.
Continue your drive to Uttarkashi. Night in Uttarkashi.

DAY 05: UTTARKASHI – GUPTKASHI (196 KM DRIVE / 07 HR) ALT: 1319 M
Today morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi. Upon arrival in Guptkashi, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

DAY 06: GUPTKASHI – KEDARNATH (35 KM DRIVE / 01.5 HR I 18 KM TREK) ALT: 3584 M
After early breakfast, drive to Sonprayag. Upon arrival in Sonprayag, take a local jeep to Gaurikund and start your trek to Kedarnath. (Outside Vehicles are not allowed beyond Sonprayag). Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Kedarnath

By 18km trek one way
By hiring mule/ponies/dollies from Gaurikund- Subject to availability on direct payment
By overnight Heli shuttle from Guptkashi and nearby - with supplement cost.

DAY 07: KEDARNATH – GUPTKASHI (18 KM TREK I 35 KM DRIVE / 01.5 HR) ALT: 1319 M
Early morning proceeds for Darshan of Kedar Baba in Kedarnath Temple. Later after breakfast, check out from your hotel / guesthouse and trek down to Gaurikund and take a local jeep back up to Sonprayag. Upon arrival at Sonprayag, you will be transferred to your hotel in Guptkashi. Overnight in Guptkashi.

DAY 08: GUPTKASHI – BADRINATH (165 KM DRIVE / 06 HR) ALT: 3133 M
After breakfast, drive to Badrinath, en-route visits Chopta (also known as mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand).
Later, drive to Badrinath. Arrive at hotel and check in.
In the evening proceed to visit Mana Village which is the first village of India at Indo –china border. Also visit _Bhimpul, Saraswati river, Vyas gufa, Ganesg Gufa and other important sites. Overnight in Badrinath.

DAY 09: BADRINATH – RUDRAPRAYAG (160 KM DRIVE / 06 HR) ALT: 0610 M
After Badrinath Temple Darshan, drive to Rudraprayag, En-route visit Joshimath. Later after the visit, continue your drive to Rudraprayag. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight in Rudraprayag.

DAY 10: RUDRAPRAYAG – RISHIKESH -HARIDWAR (155 KM DRIVE / 06 HR) ALT: 0372 M
After breakfast drive from Rudraprayag to Haridwar. En-route visiting Rishikesh
PM visit Rishikesh including Ram Jhula/Laxman Jhula/Ashrams. Later straight drive to Haridwar train station for onwards Jouney
