Ian King is a Colorado native with a passion for music that extends far into the past, spanning a multitude of genres. With an approach and outlook that is characteristically different to most, he brings to the table a very deep curiosity to explore the depths of acoustic ecology.

As a musical drifter, his re-inspired love for house and techno has left his musical style being described as distinctive with a downright funky groove. Entwining different combinations of deep and progressive composition, his focus is to craft his sets to break down boundaries and get your soul dancing.

✦ Delta IX (Kris Cordero) [ Rocky Mountain Resonance | Rising Phoenix Colorado ]

An aural chameleon, Delta IX (Kris Cordero) can change and be comfortable moving within his wide spectrum of auditory experience. If left to his choice, Delta leans toward an industrial techno sound with a psychedelic edge when playing out, though jazz standards, classical instrumentals, heavy metal and rock hits, dubby downtempo and groovy house music are always playing in daily rotation.

Delta’s goal is to craft his sets into a cohesive unit capable of bringing you to your feet, and his 10+ years involved in various elements of the Audio/Visual landscapes aides in his skillful transformation from exhibit to experience. Delta IX attended courses for audio engineering and had some experience in musical theater before discovering his abilities in the DJ arena and recently joined long-time friend, Greasy Monk, to form Rocky Mountain Resonance Ltd., a collective aimed at progressive psychedelic culture.
