In 1968, the Doctor Who story Fury from the Deep introduced a device called the Sonic Screwdriver - but at the time, nobody could've known just how iconic and inseparable from the show the device would become! Here, I've done my best to compile every individual use of the Doctor's sonic screwdriver (and other sonic devices such as the lance, cane and shades) - all the way from Fury from to Deep to present. Enjoy!

Note: My criteria for this video was any time the Doctor uses a sonic device and anytime someone else uses a sonic device belonging to the Doctor. Instances of other characters using their own sonic devices (such as River Song) are not included.
