ROUTE 66 Road Trip - TEXAS - Gallup to Shamrock

In this episode, we continue our epic Route 66 journey, crossing into Texas – where the Mother Road stretches just 178 miles. But don’t let the short distance fool you, because Texas packs in some unforgettable stops! Join us as we visit iconic landmarks like the Midpoint in Adrian, the colorful and ever-evolving Cadillac Ranch, and the Big Texan Steak Ranch, where we stayed the night (but skipped the 72oz steak challenge!). We also explore historic service stations like the Magnolia Station, see the quirky Leaning Tower of Britten, and marvel at the Art Deco Conoco Tower in Shamrock.

Along the way, we soak up the Texas pride, spot countless wind farms, and even find some inspiration from the movie Cars! This part of our Route 66 trip is full of fun facts, incredible history, and plenty of great food.
