Easy Chocolate Truffles | Cooking with Kids

Описание к видео Easy Chocolate Truffles | Cooking with Kids

This 4 ingredient choc-a-block recipe is so simple to make and is guaranteed to be a hit amongst kids of all ages (including adults ;))

I had so much fun being joined by my fave boys, Zac, Ben and Thai! They absolutely loved getting their hands dirty and getting involved in the cooking process, as I am sure your kids or little ones will too.

The ingredients are based on Kellie’s Hi-5 recipe, which I saw when I was a kid and tried for myself.

The toppings and combinations are endless; so let your creativity flair flow.

You’ll Need:
• 2x 200g Malt Biscuits
• 110g of condensed milk (1 can and a bit)
• ¾ Cup of Desiccated Coconut
• ¾ Cup of Cocoa Powder
• Toppings: Desiccated coconut, cocoa powder and popping candy

Method:
1) Crush the malt biscuits until they resemble crumbs.
2) Add in your cocoa powder and coconut.
3) Mix the dry ingredients and then pour in the condensed milk.
4) Combine together until the mixture becomes malleable.
5) Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls.
6) Now, roll the balls into the different toppings.
7) Bon Appétit ☺

*Please note: this recipe makes 70+ balls. These balls can be frozen or refrigerated for a later date.

Enjoy these truffle treats with the entire family! They can be wrapped and given as gifts or even served as party food. So easy and simple to make, everyone will love them!
