Many user have spent the weekend scratching their heads wondering why their high-spec computer is not recommended for the Windows 11 upgrade. Microsoft have changed the specs numerous times, and now the "Hard Floor" and "Soft Floor" distinction has disappeared, with just one Hard floor.

The truth is the Windows 11 preview that comes out soon, is aimed at "Windows Insiders." The "Hard Floor" requirements ensure the Beta Channel members do not give uneccessary feedback or speculation back to Microsoft. However it has still created a lot of frustration around the community.

So I have rushed out this video to try an explain the key points to windows Insiders. If you are not a Windows Insider, your computer may still be able upgrade to Windows 11. Microsoft just will not support computers below the specified requirements.

This video shows what to check without rebooting mutliple times, and offer a possible way for "Windows Insiders" to get the upgrade through the Windows Settings. You can still download the Windows ISO file if you wish.
