I finally decided to give in to my lifelong love of the cello and decided to buy the least expensive, brand-new instrument I could find on eBay. It seemed like a good value, although I realized I won't be joining any major philharmonic anytime soon.

For the time being, I'll be teaching myself from the first Suzuki cello book, having familiarized myself with the songs from the kids' violin classes.
