Dr Marc Bonaca (University of Colorado School of Medicine, Aurora, Colorado, US) joins us to discuss the findings of the BT001 Pivotal Trial, originally presented at AHA 2022.

BT001 Pivotal aimed to study the use of a mobile app that delivered nutritional cognitive behavioural therapy (nCBT) for the treatment of type II diabetes. The application targets behaviours which are associated with achieving glycaemic control. The treatment was compared to standard care across over 600 patients, randomised on a 1:1 basis.
