This video we will set the prelude to Jacobus Van't Hoffs work in stereochemistry, by diving into the history of modern chemistry and theories of organic chemistry.

As usual we will also have a quick glimpse into his life before we go to the second part to dive into the history of chemical kinetics and osmosis, for which he was awarded the first Nobel prize in 1901.

Things will get technical and scientific, but we will keep it simple.
