I grew up in the Peace country and never knew that Kimiwam existed. I’m so glad I visited it. It really is the most awesome wetland I’ve ever visited. I don’t imagine it would be fun to visit in mosquito season but it was excellent I early October.

I kept thinking of my French grandma (who passed away last year) while I was there. McLennon seemed like her kind of place. She loved birds.
