AD - PR Invite Tickets Were Gifted

In this vlog we take our 2 children Alice 5 & Leo 3 to see Dinosaur World Live at the Lowry in Salford. Our Tickets were kindly gifted to us for the shows press day but tickets for the show are usually priced at £18 each. We went on Thursday 16th February to the 2pm showing, the show was on in the Lowry's Lyric theatre and we were sat in the stalls row P seats 28-31 and Our view was very good. Booster seats were available for the children but you had to go the the cloak room to collect them. The show ran for 50 minutes with no interval, witch was just about the right length for my little ones.
The show starts with our host Miranda (Selin Balcioglu) explaining how her parents met at the Natural History Museum where they worked studying Dinosaurs. Her parents heard of an Island off the coast of Argentina where there were enormous monsters and that the people who visited it never came back. Here parents set sail for the island with Miranda and a team of palaeontologist. Their boat got caught in a storm and they all got washed up on an island which happened to be the Island they were looking for, an island full of Dinosaurs. Maranda tells us that she called the island Dinosaur World.
Miranda then start to introduce us to some of the Dinosaurs which inhabit the island, telling us some facts about each one. We got to meet Juliet a Segnosaurus, Orlando the Microrapter, Beatrice a baby Triceratops, Brutus a full grown Triceratops, Gertrude a giraffititan, Tamora a baby T-rex and Titus a Fully Grown T-rex. Miranda also picks some eager children out of the audience to meet, feed, tickle or stroke some of the dinosaurs.
The puppets used in this show were just stunning and so life like, the puppeteers were excellent and not only did they make the dinosaurs move but they also made the dinosaurs noises which helped bring the dinosaurs to life.
My children absolutely loved the show my son's favourite dino was Titus the T-rex and my daughter liked the baby dino's the best. Leo loved the interactivity of the show stomping and roaring to scare off Titus was his favourite part of the show.
At the end of the show their is a meet and greet, where the children can meet Tamora the baby T-rex, it was a bit chaotic and you couldn't get a photo as they moved the dino quickly across the stage but the children did get to pat the dino and my son loved that.

Photography was allowed throughout the show and you were encouraged to tag your photos with Dinosaur World Live on social media.
