This is a long drawing on how to Draw Scorpion vs Sub-Zero . The full drawing took me about 4 hours, and each minute in this video is around 45 minutes of drawing. I go through a lot of sketching and layouts with a big drawing like this.

Scorpion is basically surrounded by fire, so he has the higher contrast of light and dark, while Sub-Zero is nothing but a "cool" color palet. Sub-Zero is mostly in shadow, with some blue places that are more into the light. Seeing how we are not using colors, we are just going to fill in the really cools spaces with solid blacks or strong cros hatching. Thankfully, I did not need to worry about that so much on Sub-Zero, becuase of the simple fact that he is blue..and in shadow.

Scopion, however, is a bit of a different story. He is all warm colors, and always has a hint of flames, even if he is not surroundbed by it. The composition is also something that should be kept in mind. Scorpion is brighter, and has denser padding, so he is going to look like he is taking up most of the picture, however that is not true. The picture is divided up into three clear sections, and the two ninjas are equally spaced, yet Scorpion is the bulkier of the two.

I had a lot of fun doing this one. the Scorpion vs Sub-Zero scene is my favorite part of the 2021 movie. When he yelled out "get over here!" I knew it was going to be a full out brawl.
