There’s something about Black Fox that’s always felt untouchable—like it exists on the edge of something wild and unknown. When I wrote it in 2016, it wasn’t just about love or loss—it was about mystery, about chasing something you could never quite hold onto but couldn’t let go of either.

Listening now, it feels like a mirror to a different time. Back then, everything was intense, fleeting, and unpredictable. Black Fox brings me back to that energy, but it also reminds me how much I’ve grown since then. The things I used to chase feel closer now, less like a dream and more like a truth I’ve learned to carry.

It reminds me of the Native American dances that call on the spirit of the wolf, channeling its strength and intuition to face the wild unknown. 🐺
