Got 24v? Want 12v? Watch This!

Considering a 24 volt battery but not sure how to step it down to 12v? Its simple, buy a 24v to 12v converter, wire it to your 24v batteries, connect the output to your 12v fuse block and your done!

Make sure to size the 12 volt converter to the right wattage. For example, led lights, a maxxfan, 12 volt water pump, 12v diesel heater will draw about 500 watts all at once. We installed a 480 watt 24v to 12v buck converter and its been powering all of our 12v appliances without issue.

Steps: buy a converter. connect the input to your 24v battery. connect the output to your 12v fuse box. connect your 12v fans and water pump to the fuse box.

For your bigger appliances like an inverter, buy 24 volt versions.
