Alrighty day 347! Today is Vile Portent. 18 more to go. The third homebrew spell. Here we are.

Vile Portent (Cleric, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard)
3rd-level divination

Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 30ft
Components: V, S
Duration: Instantaneous

The spellcaster forces the third eye of the target open and unprepared. The target is flooded with an unorganized static of information. The target must make an Intelligence saving throw, upon a failure the target takes 6d6 psychic damage, upon a success the target takes half damage and gains a portent dice rolled by the dungeon master. If the target dies from this spell, the spellcaster gains a portent dice. The spellcaster can only hold one portent dice from this spell at a time, known as a vile portent.
