► What is CS:GO?
CS:GO, or Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, is a multiplayer FPS (First-Person-Shooter) game released in 2012 by Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment. It is the fourth game in the Counter-Strike series.

The game has two teams, T and CT, which plays against each other in different objective-based game modes. In the most popular mode, competitive, the goal is for the T-side to plant the bomb and/or eliminate the opposing team. The goal for the CT-side is to stop the T-side from planting (Eliminating them), or defusing the bomb once planted.
