I got up quite early and decided this time to visit the ancient volcanic complex, now extinct, here in the Lisbon area. I usually find fossils on the hills far from this one, howevere I never had visited this place and the result was a little unexpected since in a volcanic area what one would expect to find would be basaltic rock and not fossils. The volcano itself was a beautiful experience and I will certainly go back there to investigate a little more since I got the felling that there's a lot more fossils to be discover.
