I was sent this watch (and the previous Ultra Thin model) by the kind folks at D1 Milano. For those familiar with my collection and interests, a fashion watch is not one of them. However over the last few months I've been seeing advertisements from this brand and always liked their designs (it's not hard to guess why). I accepted their offer to send me this watch and I'm glad I did because while these watches are not typical to the automatic / mechanical watch enthusiast community, they are catering to a large audience of fashion watch enthusiasts, and I couldn't resist the chance to dip my toes in this whole other world of watches.

It is not a secret where this watch gets it's design inspiration from. Having recently purchased a homage watch myself (Helson Sharkmaster 300) after a long obsession with the Omega Seamaster 300, I'm keeping an open mind with this watch. I will update this video with a link to my full review in the coming weeks. My initial impressions upon unboxing and spending a few days with this so far has been positive. I didn't expect this level of attention to detail on the case such a remarkably clean dial. It also appears to do it's job quite well, i.e looking great on my wrist.
