Rivers, Pools & Streams - Foyle System, July 2024 - v1

Some of the main rivers, pools and streams on the Foyle System including photos of the River Deele, Burn Dennett, Glenmornan, Strabane Canal, River Foyle, River Finn, River Mourne, Cavanalee River, Ballyfatten Burn, River Derg, River Strule, Owenkillew River, Owenreagh River & Fairy Water.

The main emphasis regarding the pool and stream names is predomanetley based on the waters under the control of Strabane Lifford Anglers Association (SLAA) and Sion Mills Angling Club (SMAC) and includes the names known locally, however there may be ones I have missed and older names you may not have been aware.

One noticable thing, there isn't a defined beginning or end to each pool or stream and one may well merge from one into another.
Lets hope this video helps preserve these names for the upcomming anglers of the futher.
