Buying A New Thobe! (Middle Eastern Clothing)

Today we ventured into town to a tailor who makes the one and only thobe. A thobe is that distinct ankle-length garment that you see people of the middle east wear. In layman's term it's a dress worn by the men that has its roots all over the Arabian Peninsula.

In the video we explored the different styles worn by the people of Saudi Arabia, U.A.E, Kuwait, and Qatar. Every country has little something different that helps make their clothing distinct. As you'll see in the video, these subtle differences make it easy to tell which country a person is from based on their thobe.
