TheBossGolfs: Caves Valley Golf Club

TheBossGolfs has longed to play Caves Valley since walking the grounds for the LPGA International Crown in 2014. This Tom Fazio designed course outside Baltimore was even more spectacular than I had built it up to be nine years ago. It is worth repeating, this opinion I share very often, Tom Fazio is the best at making pretty golf courses, and Caves Valley is more beautiful than most golfers can imagine. The course's wide fairways, contort over and around dramatically rolling hills, creating stunning views from many of the tee boxes. The conditions are second to none, and the service is first class at every turn. While the fairways felt generous, the greens were challenging, and the hilly terrain was the best defense for the many shots requiring a specific approach to land in an optimum location. Caves Valley hosted the PGA tours' BMW Championship in 2021 and is a top 200 course in America and easily one of the finest in Maryland.
