Dolly Shot Explanation
The shot taken by setting the camera on the dolly and pulling the dolly is called dolly shot, mostly for taking zoom in and zoom out shots, and dolly is used when extract shots are to be taken keeping the characters in the center. The use of dolly is no longer the same, in modern films its place has almost been replaced by gimbal, so now the use of dolly is reduced.
