The Last Ever Train from Midland Station Platform 1

As part of the New Midland Station works, a unique shutdown of the Midland Line between Bassendean and Midland is occurring between the 24th and 27th of October 2024 (video here:    • Bassendean to Midland Shutdown Octobe...  ).

During the shutdown tracks around Midland Station will be reconfigured and the regional platform at the station will be decommissioned, with services using a new temporary regional platform until the new Midland Station is ready. The platform, numbered platform 1 at the station, has been in use since 2001, and saw its last ever train depart on Thursday the 24th of October at 5:50PM with the evening AvonLink service, which I recorded in this video.
