This jig enables the woodworker to easily drill centered and offset holes in various shapes of material with one set up. Any material that fits within the jaws can be drilled with perfectly centered holes provided that the material being drilled allows it (grainy or out of square stock will of course affect the results). The jig is first centered by inserting a centering pin in the drill press chuck, which can be any round metal rod the user may have, and then clamping the jig to the drill press table with the jig's jaws held against the centering pin. Once the jig is properly centered the user will be able to drill centered and evenly offset holes regardless of the width of the material as long as the material fits within the jaws. An easily installed and removed stainless steel stop-rod allows the user to position the work for repetitive drilling. Also included is a readily accessed open-ended wrench for aligning the stop rod's coupling nuts and for locking down the jig's jaws as needed.
