As with all my videos I try to give the most information in the least amount of time as possible, so I don’t waste your time. In this video I was able to get a Pit Boss xl 1000 pellet grill/smoker for absolutely nothing because it stopped working. I will show how I diagnosed the problem with this grill/smoker and what I did to fix it. It ended up needing a control panel along with an igniter/heating element and a new caster. I will also show you how to diagnose an auger that's not dispensing pellets or a fan that is not working as well. I am showing you this on a Pit Boss xl 1000 however the concepts I go over in this video for diagnosing the problems should apply to most brands and models of pellet grills/smokers.
