తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో దినదినాభివృద్ధి చెందుతున్న పాడిపరిశ్రమలో ఇప్పుడు నూతనోత్సాహం కనిపిస్తోంది. దాదాపు అన్ని ప్రాంతాల్లోను గేదెపాలకు డిమాండ్ ఎక్కువ వున్న నేపధ్యంలో, అధిక పాల దిగుబడినిచ్చే గ్రేడెడ్ ముర్రాజాతి గేదెల అభివృద్ధి వల్ల పరిశ్రమ లాభదాయకంగా రూపుదిద్దుకుంటుంది. గతంలో గేదెల్లో పాల దిగుబడి తక్కువ వుండటం వల్ల శ్రమకు తగిన ఫలితం లభించేది కాదు. కానీ ప్రస్థుతం మన ప్రాంతంలో ముర్రాజాతి లక్షణాలు వున్న గ్రేడెడ్ ముర్రా గేదెల్లో 70 - 80 శాతం జాతి లక్షణాలు అభివృద్ధి చెందటంతో పరిస్థితిలో గణనీయమైన మార్పు కనిపిస్తోంది. ఒక్కో గేదె నుండి సరాసరిన ఈత కాలంలో 3500 లీటర్ల పాల దిగుబడిని సాధించే దిశగా ముర్రా బ్రీడ్ అభివృద్ధి చెందింది. అయితే అవగాహన వున్న కొద్దిమంది రైతుల వద్ద మాత్రమే మంచి బ్రీడ్ వుండటం, ముర్రాబ్రీడ్ అభివృద్ధిపట్ల చాలామంది రైతుల్లో సరై అవగాహన లేకపోవటం వల్ల, ఈ బ్రీడ్ అభివృద్ధికి మరింత కృషి జరగాల్సిన అవసరం కనిపిస్తోంది.
కృష్ణా జిల్లా, గుడివాడకు చెందిన యువరైతు సునీల్ కుమార్ ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగ బాధ్యతలు నిర్వహిస్తూనే, తండ్రికి చేయూతగా వుంటూ మినీ డెయిరీలో విజయ బావుటా ఎగురవేస్తున్నారు. 20 గేదెలు వున్న ఈ మినీ డెయిరీలో రోజుకు 150 లీటర్ల పాల దిగుబడి సాధిస్తూ....సొంతంగా పాలను విక్రయించటం ద్వారా సరాసరిన లీటరు పాలకు 80 రూపాయల ధర సాధిస్తున్నారు. పాడి పశువుల పోషణ 100 శాతం ప్రతీ రైతుకు చక్కటి ఆదాయ వనరని, నిరుద్యోగ యువత పాడి పరిశ్రమపై అవగాహన పెంచుకుంటే ఉపాధిఅవకాశాలు మెరుగవుతాయని ఘంటపథంగా చెబుతున్నారు. వివరాలు ఈ స్టోరీలో తెలుసుకుందాం.
