I have found that in life, it is the little things that mean a lot.
Saying "good morning" with a SMILE can make a difference.
And doing so costs nothing.
A small, genuine and sincere compliment could make a difference.
The checkout clerk with a company patch on his (or her shirt) may enjoy hearing, "Congratulations on getting that patch.".
It's the little things.
A little girl giving a trashman a cookie means a lot to that person.
The woman who delivers your mail appreciates a "Thank you".
These are not earth-shaking gestures, they are free gestures of endearment.
The little things.
I mean it when I say, "Thank you!" even though we have never met.
So, today, please get into the habit of smiling and sharing your greetings.
