Our security agencies remain on call to ensure public safety. We encourage everyone to remain vigilant.

📢This past week, the Jukwaa la Usalama County Tours began in the Coast region, where the public voiced their concerns and the Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Kipchumba Murkomen, listened. Key issues raised included Allegations of politicians financing juvenile gangs; Land invasions and fraud; Boundary disputes; Gender-based violence; The threat of terrorism and the need for improved working conditions for our frontline security officers.


🏝️In Lamu, Operation Amani Boni continues to make significant progress in counter-terrorism efforts, keeping militants at bay and securing affected areas.


⛵️In Kisumu, together with the Inspector General of Police Mr. Douglas Kanja and area MP Hon. Shakeel Shabbir, we opened the newly constructed Kisumu East Sub County Police Headquarters in Kasagam to boost officer presence and improve response to the community level.


🪖🤝🏿👮🏿Our focus continues in strengthening Kenya's security institutions with one of the most effective strategies for maintaining National and Regional stability being through the Multi-Agency Approach as presented by the Principal Secretary, Dr. Raymond Omollo in a lecture at the National Defence College.


🚔Ongoing Police reforms and the modernization of operations also remain central to the Government agenda and a key pillar in driving long term National development.
