Rugrats isn't generally a scary show, but it did have a tendency to do scary episodes every once in a while, and it also had the tendency to frighten the living daylights out of me with them. There's one episode in particular that takes the medal as being one of the scariest, it's called 'The Last Babysitter'. They managed to go full on horror with this one.

'Rugrats' is a 90s Kids TV Show that follows the lives of babies/toddlers Tommy, Chucky, Susie, Phil, Lil and Angelica as they go on extensive adventures, often to solve very small problems. It was the longest running Nickelodeon show until SpongeBob took the title back in 2012.

'The Last Babysitter' follows Susie, Tommy, Susie's sister Alyssa and the rest of the Carmichael family. Tommy and Susie's parents are away at a Rock Opera concert, so it's Alyssa's job to take care of the kids, she's the babysitter. There's word and apparent sightings of a monster in the basement, so Tommy and Susie go on an adventure to find it.
