Inside Tour of Nintendo New York | Midtown, Manhattan

Описание к видео Inside Tour of Nintendo New York | Midtown, Manhattan

This is a video tour about Nintendo New York located in Rockefeller Plaza in New York City at W 48th St between 5th and 6th Avenues.

Notable items in Nintendo New York include: the Nintendo Switch (current console as of 2024), Nintendo Switch games, Nintendo plushies, video game guides, Nintendo encyclopedias and mangas, plus demo testing of recent video game releases. My favorite section of the store is the mini gallery collection of Nintendo's handheld and home console video games and the vintage hanafuda cards since the company's inception in 1889.

Nintendo New York first opened in November 2001 as the Pokémon Center. It was then renovated in 2005 as the Nintendo World. It was renovated once again to its current iteration in 2016 as Nintendo New York. The building is 10,000 sq feet (930 sq meters) and consists of 2 floors. The first floor is dedicated to Nintendo's biggest intellectual property (IP), Super Mario. The second floor contains Nintendo's other IPs being: The Legend of Zelda, Kirby, Metroid, Pikmin, Animal Crossing, Splatoon and Pokémon.

Highlights:
0:00 Intro - Exterior
1:39 1st Floor - Super Mario
5:42 2nd Floor - Other Nintendo Properties
10:18 2nd Floor - Nintendo's Video Game Console Gallery

Filmed: July 15, 2024
