Metal meets folkie. This is an arrangement of the title track off of the new album "The Annex of Ire" released by Vancouver-based metal band, Neck of the Woods. I repurposed the melodic intervals of the guitars in the introduction for the vocal line. Keeping the syllabic phrasing of the lyrics as recorded, and continuing the harmonic progression from the intro through to the verse and chorus, I created an interpretive and softer version of the song. Enjoy.
