711 Group Head shower screen, Group Head Shower Plate Installation

Group Head shower screen should be back flushed daily and removed once a week for scrubbing with a brass wire brush.

Group Head shower plate can be cleaned once a week in same manner. Both are held in place with counter sunk screw in center of shower screen It's usually a standard slot type screw that should be hand tightened using a 'Stubby' style screwdriver.

I've shown how to also remove conical gasket and cowling. But this is not required as the shower plate can be removed by wedging a flat screwdriver into the brass center hole. It should just drop out. Only being stuck by dried coffee on base. Don't force it! If it doesn't come out then just leave it and continue back flushing regulaly (twice a day; once at lunch, another at closing.)
