BMW 550i Front Brake Pad & Rotor Replacement DIY (2011-2016 BMW F10 550i, F12 650i, Gran Coupe)

►Replacing the front brakes on your BMW 550i is an excellent way of caring for your vehicle yourself. It allows you to save money while ensuring the health and safety of your car. You'll be able to feel and hear when they're worn, although your vehicle will tell you before then. An electronic sensor gets tripped once the pads wear to a certain level, and it'll alert you via a warning message on your instrument cluster. You'll also be able to feel it through juddering from the front under braking and a pulsating pedal.
