Often times we get asked, "Why shouldn't I sell my 🏡 myself 🤔??
The #️⃣ 1 reason why you wouldn't want to sell your🏡 yourself is going to be...when you hire a Real Estate Agent you literally hire THOUSANDS of other agents to help you sell your house!
In the Roanoke Valley ⛰, in Roanoke alone-have over 1,300 real estate agents 😲🤯 !!When you list your house, you have 1,300 PEOPLE/AGENTS 💼 that are trying to sell your house to buyers 🤑 however, if you add in Lynchburg, New River Valley, you have over 2,500 real estate agents that are trying to sell your house 🤪 So therefore we have 2,500 people working for you 🤑💰which in turn works A LOT better than when you're working by yourself 🥺👎.
✌️ reason is that most people, when they 💰💰 a house they use an agent and if they use an agent, that agent has to be compensated (Duh- 💰) So even if you sell your house 🏠 For Sale By Owner, you are probably still going to dealing with a real estate agent 😎. The only difference is that agent works for the buyer and not for you 😫. So the are negotiating for the buyer, 🚫 for you . The buyer has a professional helping them. Unfortunately.... you do not 😪😢
👋 again! The #3️⃣ reason is that For Sale By Owners/FSBOs, have a stigma 🙅🏻♂️🙅♀️🏻. They have a stigma that they sell for less AND take longer to sell than the national average 🥴. You see 🧐 most real estate agents, they don't like to necessarily deal with the “For Sale By Owner” because it becomes much more work on the real estate agents. What typically happens is they try to avoid these houses 🙅🏻♀️ . They try not to show these houses because showing a For Sale By Owner means they're going to do 30%, to 40%, to 50% MORE work for no MORE compensation 🚫💰. They get paid MORE per hour to do a listed house than to do an unlisted house. So agent will try to avoid FSBO’s at all costs because it's more work that's uncompensated.
#4️⃣...the next reason is going to be exposure 📲🗣💻📸🎥. If you list your house in the MLS (multiple listing service) with the real estate agent, they're going to syndicate your house on hundreds of websites 🤯. It's going to be on Zillow, Realtor.com, Trulia, Oodle, Zoodle, all of the personal websites 👎 where as most real estate agents, most real estate companies, have their own websites and they syndicate listings as well...so, when you do a For Sale By Owner, you cut out ✂️✂️ most of the exposure that you're going to get.
Number ✋ And the final reason 😁 the biggest reason why you want to list your house and not 🚫 do a For Sale By Owner is when a home buyer is looking at a For Sale By Owner, they instantaneously cut 6% to 10% off the price 🧐😲 They're like, "Hey, this guy's not paying a commission. I'm going to drop my offer by this much.......
Statistically listing a house 🏡 ✅😁 is going to net you more money 💰 💯! It's going to sell faster 🏃🏼♂️🏃🏻♀️. It's going to be a much less stressful transaction than if you try to do a For Sale By Owner‼️
