KEENAGERS is known for its fantastic food, phenomenal programs, and friendly fellowship. The September gathering certainly met all three of these expectations. Thirty-seven people enjoyed hearing all about Dave and Sara Kozeluh's trip to Scotland and seeing all of the photos. Thanks, Dave and Sara. Thanks to Patty and Tom Frandy for coordinating the Keenagers, and to the faithful group of volunteers who help Tom and Patty with setup and cleanup each month.

If you've never attended Keenagers or had to miss this month's get-together, mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 15th, at 12:00 p.m. at Church of the Pines, 415 Chippewa Street in downtown Minocqua. This is not just an event, it's a chance to come together as a community. If you can, bring a dish to share. Alternatively, if you plan to attend the program only, please arrive at 12:30 p.m. Debra Durchslag, president of the League of Women Voters of the Northwoods, will be the program presenter. She'll discuss voter registration, what constitutes proper identification, what to expect when you arrive at the polls, and provide us with the necessary information related to our voting rights. It's an opportunity to learn and connect with your fellow community members.
