I have painted for many years using watercolor and have tried to sell my art in various place in my local area as well as on Etsy. I have discovered over the years that painting to earn extra income can hinder and distort the creative process. What's more it can keep us from growing and learning because our focus is on cash instead of creativity. Anyway... take a listen and share your thoughts on the subject.

The painting in this video is painted on a Strathmore hot press paper, which is smooth and slick and is an interesting change from the paper I typically use!
