Koop een koraal en steun koraalonderzoek! Vandaag starten we onze crowd funding campagne voor CORALAB, met als doel het bestuderen van steenkoralen. CORALAB zal in Zeewolde worden gebouwd en geleid door Dr. Tim Wijgerde. CORALAB zal de effecten van licht, waterbeweging, waterchemie en voeding op koraalgroei en –fysiologie bestuderen. Onze eerste studie richt zich op de rol van rood en blauw licht op koraalgroei, –kleuring en –gezondheid.

Buy a coral, and support coral research! Today, we start our crowd funding campaign for CORALAB, which aims to study stony corals. CORALAB will be built in Zeewolde, The Netherlands, and will be led by Dr. Tim Wijgerde. With CORALAB, we will study the effects of light, water flow, water chemistry and nutrition on coral growth, colouration and physiology. Our first study will focus on the role of red and blue light on coral health and growth.
