“I have combined musical elements including the Gregorian chant and Taiko drums to create a very special feeling, decorating it with a touch of the oriental color. The whole piece describes a distant place -- a mountain -- and the mountain spirit that resides there. It is the protector of the mountain, a deer-like animal in daylight, and a transparent giant in the moonlight. It is capable of giving life AND drawing life, known as the god of death, life, and greens, whose existence brings harmony, as well as hatred and killing.”
