A quick update on this project. The recapped supply has to be put aside as it appears to have undiagnosed damage on one of its power rails. The unit is brought back to life with a substitute PSU, presumably from a decade later when Hewlett-Packard transitioned to Agilent. Anticlimactic I know but that's the drawback of making the videos in sync with project flow rather than producing them upon completion.
